Swiss Solar presents next generation solar module with Metal Wrap Through solar cell and Graphene coating technology.

MWT is an innovative cell technology to increase the conversion efficiency by avoiding the busbar on the front side, with both positive and negative electrodes on the rear side.

 

Graphene coating will allow highly efficient absorption of energy that will outperform present materials.

Advantages of MWT solar cell technology:

• Without busbars, decreasing shading area by 3%
• 15Wp module power output higher that industry average
• Eliminating the micro crack and degradation caused by string ribbons

 

Technology comparison

 

Compared with conventional module, MWT modules reduce 3% shaded area with no busbars. MWT module technology replaces string ribbon by conductive back sheet, abandoning strain, micro-crack and results power degradation, greatly improving stability and realibility.
